Hi All,
Yes, I am behind yet again. It seems I just can't keep up on this blog thing. Even though I have wasted an entire morning surfing the web and reading blogs today. Here is the latest.
I have finished my student teaching and it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I enjoyed every aspect of the classroom from grading papers, to thinking up lesson plans and of course performing in a science skit that brought the house down (literally, he-he).
I graduate on Saturday with honors from LeTourneau University and I could not be more proud of this accomplishment or more thankful for all the support I had along the way.
David continues to do well at his new job, but the being apart during the week is really hard. Emily and I really miss him and he misses us. We are still on the hunt for a house. It turns out that finding a house with three dogs and less than stellar (thank you AbleCare) credit is kind of hard.
I am packing and packing and packing in hopes that we will have a house soon. I have decided that we really need to become acquatined with the library, this realization came to me after I packed and hauled 16 boxes of books to the garage. I have another closet full of books and I haven't even started on Emily's books. We need a 12 step program.
Emily's last day of school is next Friday so we will be spending lots of mommy/daughter/packing time together (Wonder how she is with a tape gun?)
I have come up with the coolest idea for homemade Christmas gifts this year. I will post pics when I get them done.
I am working on my resume and will be applying for jobs in our new town, but first I have to pass my test.
I had better go get my house cleaned. My mom is coming tomorrow.
