Funny thing about Inertia...It works

So today was SUPER fun in Science world.

We are teaching the little darlings about Newton's laws of Motion. For those of you who need a refresher, the first law is "objects in motion tend to stay in motion, objects at rest tend to stay at rest, until acted on by an outside force"

Well...

My teacher and I were doing a little skit (we're cool like that). All I was trying to do was walk across the room and turn off a radio. Well, Inertia, The Force, whatever, took over. My foot somehow got caught in my pant leg and I fell in slow motion I am sure, trying to catch myself the whole way crashing to the ground. (Mom, picture roller skating incident on the parkway). After taking half a beat to realize, yes I actually did just do that in front of the whole class, I popped right up and finished my skit. (Mom, picture the time I fell down in Walmart wearing those crazy boots I had)

Anyway, I am fine and I can tell you that second period will never forget The Law of Interia...It works.
