After a harrowing weekend at the vet, all dogs are back home, well sort of. Lucy is temporarily staying with my mom aka: doggie grams until she gets her stitches out and Tucker is really missing her at home. Lucy had to return to the vet today for a follow up check on her injuries and she appears to be healing well and seems to be leaving her stitches alone (no cone collar for her).
After much consideration, we have decided that we will try and keep Mr. Tucker even in light of this most unfortunate incident because he is a good dog and we love him. When we are not at home, we will keep he and Lucy separate. Lucy would prefer to be in her kennel in the AC/Heat anyway (she's delicate). David or I will come home at lunch to let them out and hopefully it will work out.
For today, Lucy is hanging with me at the office until I meet up with mom and she goes back to Shreveport to be spoiled some more.
