Emily's Adventures

I have been spending more time at home with Emily lately because of my school work. It is easier to work on my homework here rather than at the office. I say easier, but I am not really so sure. Emily keeps me pretty busy when she is awake so I don't get all that much reading done. I use this time to try and get caught up on the house work (never ending). When she does go down for a nap, I try and speed read through my textbooks and submit my discussion questions before she gets up.

Today we had a few fun adventures here at the house

1. Ate like a horse today
Emily had a super eating day. The last couple of days, she has eaten like a bird but not today...Breakfast was scrabbled eggs, bananas and toast..Lunch was yogurt, peaches, bananas and a couple cookies...Dinner she helped herself to several chicken strips and pizza and of course a bite of brownie...She also topped off the meal with a few bites of dog food (don't worry, I asked my mom and she says its not toxic) We will have to pick up the dog food to prevent further sampling.

2. A little Remodeling
Emily was playing in the curtains in the dining room as she likes to do, but today she got a little excited and pulled them right down. No worries, I wanted to redo them anyway. :) (These are not in the right order, but you get the picture)

3. Tormenting the Dog
Emily has been tormenting the dogs with increased frequency lately. It is good that we have really good dogs who tolerate her or just move out of the way. Here she is interrupting Lucy's couch time.

Daddy is busy putting the little bit down for the night. It was a fun day and I did get some homework done and some towels folded.. Go Me.
