This weekend we celebrated Emily's birthday with a big party. It was tons of fun. We had balloons, cake, cookies, candy, and oh so much food. We had family and friends and oh so much fun.

Candy and Cookies...Yummy
See all that silverware I wrapped, I served sandwiches and chips, no need for silverware silly :)
The kiddos had fun decorating cookies with the candy and frosting.
Emily did a great job blowing out the candles on her cake
Emily was so blessed to have so many of her friends with her at the party, she got some wonderful gifts.
The party was a success overall, but boy was I beat when it was over. I think next year we may go somewhere for the party. At least I have a whole year before I have to worry about it again.
READ THE MANUAL
As you may remember, David and I traded in our cars for different cars last month. I have really enjoyed my new minivan, but it has been great weather since I got the car. Today as I was taking Emily to school, it was raining. I was driving down the road and couldn't figure out how to turn on the wipers. I fiddled with the buttons and finally found how to turn them on. I felt really silly not knowing how to work my own car. I guess I should be like David and read the owners manual.
This week we are looking forward to Halloween, Emily is going to be a bumblebee. I can't wait.
Till next time.
Looks like everyone had a great time and the decorating is way too cute.
