Thursday after bible study, we went to lunch with Ann and Sloane, here is a pic of those ladies who lunch.

David and I headed out for a date on Friday and it was nice to reconnect. Emily had a great time with Sarah V.
Saturday was our Fall Fest. Upon arriving Emily spied this little train type vehicle she wanted to ride in. She jumped right in, and as soon as it started up, she began to wail and they were already on the way, so she was just stuck till they got back. When they came back around, we scooped her out and after she settled down, we went and played some games and she had a nice time. This was a much smaller event than halloween and a bit more managable for us.
Sunday was wonderful at church. First we played handbells and then we had baptisms. We welcomed five new people into the family of Christ. I was so happy to see the church full of children. Father Kevin welcomed the children to come back and watch the candidates for baptism. See the picture below. So wonderful to have so many little ones in our midst.

Tonight was Trinity Night at Chili's so we descended upon them with a table for 12, 6 adults, 6 children. FUN for everyone. I called ahead in hopes of easing our wait time. That was not helpful. But eventually we got seated and enjoyed a nice time and some good food. No major meltdowns to speak of. Christy and I noticed that all our girls were dressed alike. Black shirts and jeans. Here they are cutting up with some friends before we were seated.

Looking forward to my Dad's birthday tomorrow. We are going to have dinner in Shreveport with my parents, It will be lots of fun.
That's all for now.
Till next time...
Enjoy your visit with your mom and dad.
