This week has been spent closing up our office. After several days of transition with employees drifting in and out, turning in paperwork and computers. It was a trying few days as we said our goodbyes and wished our staff all the best.
On Thursday, I was in super packing mode. I got most of the records packed up and threw bag after bag of stuff away. On Friday, Kendall came by and helped me with the rest. Because Emily was watched by my dear friends Sarah on Thursday and Christy on Friday, I was able to get ready for the moving on Saturday. Sarah V. was kind enough to watch little miss today so she would be safe and having fun while we all worked. Sarah took her to the park and then fed her lunch and she napped for 2.5 hours.
We filled up the truck and then unloaded it into the garage. Car will have to sleep outside for a while. :( There are a few miscellaneous things left at the office that we will pick up tomorrow. Then we will go clean it up and turn in the key.
I am so excited that this phase of the project is nearly complete. We are looking forward to whatever the next chapter of our lives will look like.
