Today I went with my mom to Dallas to visit and lunch with my Aunt Terry who lives there and Cousin Heather who was visiting from her job in Alaska and her hubby Harry. It was such a nice trip over and of course my mom and I always have the best talks in the car. It is great to have someone in the car who can keep up with my loquaciousness (not sure if that is spelled right...it is spelled right, had to look it up, it was bugging me :)), let just say, I'm a talker, like y'all didn't already know that :)
We met up with Terry, Heather and Harry and off to Denny's we went. We had even more great conversation there (they are all loquacious too) about so many topics. Don't you just love a good conversation? And Bonus, I got to pet my cousin's sweet baby puppy and I got some great body butter from my Aunt. :)
Off Blog Lockdown:
A month or so ago, I had someone leave a really nasty comment on my blog and it scared me for many reasons. First, how did he find it? I don't publish my blog on search sites. Second, I thought, will I ever be able to speak freely again without being attacked? This led me to sort of lock down my blog. I didn't blog for a while and I set the security so that noone could post comments to my blog. I even removed the sweet family picture of us from the page. After thinking about this and letting some time pass, I have decided to open my comments back up and speak freely, after all, this is MY little corner of cyberspace and I am not going to let meanies bother me. So I will just moderate the posts before they appear on the blog, that way if someone does writes something mean, I can just delete it :) How is that for technology.
Job Search:
David was informed today that he did not get the job we had been waiting on. We are disappointed by confident that God has another opportunity for us. Sometimes what appears like a perfect fit really isn't. Please keep us in your prayers for the RIGHT job for David.
I had better get back to the homework.
