Oh Blog, Oh Blog How I have Neglected Thee

Hi Everyone,
My name is Tricha and I used to do some blogging...

I have really neglected the blog something awful. I am not sure why, but anyways, here I am and I guess I will share.

The summer has been progressing ok, I guess! It all seems to be moving too fast. I had intended to having some fun things planned for Emily and I do to during the day like the library, park, splash pad etc. But then the fires from heaven rained down and turned our nice moderate June into 100+ degree Hades!!

Emily and I have been having fun playing prentend, puzzles, stickers, blocks and hide and seek as we huddle under our AC Vent. I have really enjoyed spending time with her and just hanging out. We have managed to make it over to my friend Ann's house for Fun Friday Pool Time. Gotta love a friend with a pool.

School is marching along. I have only two classes left and my student teaching in the fall and then I am done, done, done!!! I am really excited and cannot wait to get in a classroom. I will be student teaching at Pine Tree Junior High, 8th grade Science, (All Prayers Appreciated). Then hopefully, there will be a spot open in Janurary or at least some substitute teaching for the Spring. I hope to have my own classroom in the fall.

David is still searching for work and we are getting things together to get our training business off the ground. I pray for his success daily. I sure wish I could go ahead and learn whatever lesson God is trying to teach me so we can move on.

I am worried for my sister since she too was laid off from work. I hope she finds another job very soon. She is too talented to not be working.

My birthday is coming up in about three weeks or so, and I am approaching this birthday somewhat less than thrilled. I will be turning 36, can you believe that. I am much to young to be 36! This has been a very tough year and I really hope the coming year is better. I don't know why, but I am just not thrilled about the march toward fourty. Maybe it is because I have not accomplished some goals of mine. I will celebrate for sure, but maybe I will take this time to assess my goals and really try and achieve them. I watched Eat Pray Love, and I think it affected me!

Anyway, it is cool after some much needed rain and I think I should go for a walk.
