Sometimes just what you need to hear

Things have been really stressful both at our business and in our personal lives. We have had a bit of bad news lately and it has taken me some time to absorb it. I think I am just about over it, but the scrapes are still a bit raw.

I had two things today that were just what I needed to hear. The first was my sister's call very early this morning. It was nice to hear from her and she was kind enough to listen to me cry about how things are not going my way. I was able to hear how things aren't really going her way either, (at least I know I am not alone). Eve and I don't talk as often as we should, and it was nice to have her there to listen to me. Thank sis.

The second cool thing I needed to hear was posted on Facebook. There is this guy in my friend list who posts all kinds of new age, feel good mumbo jumbo that i usually just scroll on by, but this post had a you tube video of Will Smith so I decided to give it a look. It was some words of wisdom from Will Smith and it was ten minutes well spent. I am going to try and repost the link here for those of you who want to check it out.




Sometimes God sends you just what you need to hear.

Emily was her same adorable self today. We went to academy to try and find some uniform shorts for her and of course they did not have any, but she did pick up these adorable hello kitty glasses and really rocked them out. She usually doesn't wear sunglasses, but she kept these on for the whole car trip back to the office. Such a cutie.



Tomorrow we are off to Alley Fest to hear Little Texas, it should be fun. Off to homework now.
