Monday...A new Start

After last week's depressing post, it is Monday....a brand new week.

We had a busy weekend full of fun.

Friday we had the Collins crew over for pizza and a movie. Lots of kid adventures including Emily putting water all over Noah and then stuffing tissues in the sink to fill it up with water. Three pairs of pajamas later she was in bed. It was a good time.

Saturday was rainy and yucky...I had a wonderful visit from my best friend Andrea. We had the opportunity to catch up and just talk..so needed. We used our gift card at the Outback...Yummy, but I ate too much.

Sunday was a big day at church. We had baptisms and confirmations at church. I just love celebrations of welcoming new Christians to our community. I am so happy that we have so many children in our midst at Trinity. We are truly blessed.

Sunday Night was Miss Elisa Collins' birthday party at Pump it Up...Emily had been talking about it all day so she was ready to go. Unfortunately she has an ear infection for which she is on antibiotics and a touch of bronchitis. So...after climbing the big slide three times in a row, she had a coughing fit and then got choked and got sick a bit. After a clean up in the bathroom and a trip to Target for a new shirt, she was off and going again. We didn't make it to the end, but I think she had fun anyway.

Today she is off at school and seems to be fine . I picked up the house and continue the battle of the laundry...

Heading to office to help out tomorrow as I am off school this week. Yay..
