We are going to take the train up to Chicago, what an adventure. David and I figured that the train would be a better option that subjecting Emily to a 15 hour car ride and us to the 15 hour drive. On the train we can stretch out, look around and sleep! This is going to be our first time on a train and I am excited.
We have everything packed and our dear friend is coming to look after our doggies. Ever notice when you go out of town with children, you have to load up your entire house and think about every eventuality as if you are going to a place in the middle of nowhere with no Walmart! Exhausting! We have books, colors, dollies, diapers, wipes, snacks, computers, portable DVD player and our Kindles; we should not be bored. I suppose if we do get bored, we could always talk to EACH OTHER. :)
I will take lots of pictures of the train and our trip and will see if I can blog along the way.
