Happy Friday

Happy Friday Everyone,
I don't have any big plans this weekend. Emily is going to visit her Grammie and Pop-Pop. I am going to do some cooking this weekend as I prepare to start my student teaching on Monday. Super organized is my goal. ;)

Yesterday I met my mentor teacher and the principal at the school. I was amazed at how tall 8th graders are! They kind of scared me a little. Mrs. Darby is very fun and energetic. I am looking forward to being in her class. She mentioned the students would get to blow something us this year. Fun!

Emily started back to school this week, and she has done so well. Getting up was a challenge early in the week, but this morning she was already up when I got back from my walk. Here is a picture of her on the first day.

We recently celebrated our friend Hannah's birthday at the bowling ally and Emily and her friends had a great time. Turns out, if you have bumper guards and a ball roller, you can be a pretty good bowler.
